Ex-Cardiff City and England U21 star Peter Whittingham, 35, passes away with his pregnant wife by his side, 12 days after falling down the stairs at a pub after watching Six Nations rugby. The former England Under-21 international had been on a life support machine in hospital for the past 12 days but his pregnant wife Amanda was at his bedside when it was turned off after doctors said there was no hope.
