Tottenham will have to get creative in the transfer window in order to sign their top targets and Jose Mourinho is reportedly prepared to include Lucas Moura in a swap deal in order to sign Arkadiusz Milik. Napoli have failed to agree terms with Milik on a new contract with his current deal expiring in 2021.
Reports have suggested that Milik is not willing to sign, forcing Napoli to listen to offers for the Poland international.
He isn’t short of interest though with a number of clubs around Europe being linked with a move for Milik.
Tottenham are said to be one of them, with Mourinho a long-term admirer.
The Spurs boss though will have a limited transfer budget heading into the summer transfer window due to the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.

It has been suggested that Mourinho will have to cope with going after loan deals or free agents.
But Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport suggests Mourinho has a third avenue in the transfer market.
The report points out Tottenham’s interest in Milik, but Napoli are demanding £45million for their striker.
That would prove too costly for Tottenham up front in the current climate, but Mourinho is reportedly prepared to offer Moura as a makeweight in any deal.
The Brazilian has established himself as a key member of Spurs’ squad over the past few years and his heroics in the Champions League against Ajax last year helped the club reach the final.
But Mourinho has an abundance of options out wide having signed Steven Bergwijn while Gedson Fernandes has also been used on the wing.
Italian agent Vincenzo Morabito believes Moura would be a quality signing for Napoli.
However, he doubts whether Milik would accept joining Tottenham as the back-up option to Kane.

“Moura is a very interesting player, he did quite well at Tottenham, especially a year ago, which was his best season. Fast, technical, very professional,” Morabito said.
“Despite being 28 years old, he has only played in three clubs: San Paolo, PSG, where he has done very well, and now at Tottenham. He would be a great quality purchase.”
“Milik’s problem is his contract expires in 2021. I’m not so convinced of Tottenham; he would go there and be the reserve [striker].
“Tottenham wanted Olivier Giroud in the past and he didn’t accept because there is no room with Harry Kane.”
