Southampton ‘ready to use goalkeeper Fraser Forster as bait in pursuit of Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham’

- Forster could return to the Scottish club he has been on loan at last season
- Celtic will have to pay more than the £15k-per-week they paid last season
Southampton are ready to use goalkeeper Fraser Forster to lure in French midfielder Olivier Ntcham from Celtic.
Saints stopper Forster can return to the Scottish champions after a career-saving loan spell last season – however, they want something in return.
They are interested in a deal that would see them acquire 24-year-old midfielder Ntcham as part of a deal with Forster heading back up North, according to the Sun.

The French midfielder has caught the eye of the Premier League club for a potential swap deal
A potential factor that could hinder Southampton’s chances of the switch could be Forster’s contract, with Celtic having to agree to paying more than the £15,000-per-week they had to when they loaned the keeper.
The Saints are interested in the midfielder with current centre-mid Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg linked with a move away this summer.
Celtic are not against letting Ntcham go, but will ensure they get the right fee or deal for one of their star players.
The new Scottish football season kicks off on August 1, so Hoops manager Neil Lennon will want to bring in Forster as soon as possible.
The Frenchman has scored four goals and has two assists this season after joining the Premiership club in 2017 from Manchester City.
