Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane has been crowned the best player in Africa for the year 2019.
Sadio Mane won the award ahead of Liverpool teammate, Mohammed Salah and Manchester City forward, Riyad Mahrez.
The Senegalese forward was given the award after a stunning season with Liverpool at the English Premier League as he also led Senegal to the final of the Nations Cup at Egypt, losing to eventual winner, Algeria
The Senegalese forward was prolific in front of goals last season he netted 30 goals in 58 appearance for club and country as he won the Champions League and Club World Cup with Liverpool.
