Reason why Frank Lampard should be given enough time at Chelsea


Frank Lampard’s second season in charge of Chelsea have not been going according to plan as the former England International have not been to justify the huge fee spent on players during the transfer window.

Chelsea started their match against West Brom with a statement to make having been outclassed by Liverpool at home a week ago.

Frank Lampard gave Thiago Silva his Premier League debut as well as starting Willy Cabballero ahead of Kepa Arizzaballaga who had a game to forget against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans wanted nothing but a convincing victory over West Brom, however their hope was dashed as they fell 3 nil in the first 45 minutes.

Though a fight back ensured they left with one point but Chelsea fans across-the-board the globe seems fed up with Frank Lampard and are seeking for a change.

Frank Lampard should however be given enough time to prove his worth at the Bridge as his plans will eventually work out well.

The Chelsea Legend brought in Kai Havertz in a club record deal and his yet to see him perform at his best despite netting an hat trick in their Carabao cup with over Barnsley.

Kai Havertz will only be at his peak when the blues welcome back Pulicis and Ziyech who are both currently out with injury.

Chelsea backline have not been too impressive and Frank Lampard will only have a peace of mind when Ben Chillwell fit.

Frank Lampard might be having a torrid time at Chelsea but patience is the key in rebuilding a team as Jurgen Klopp was given enough time to turn things around at Liverpool.

Having all his new signing playing in the first eleven will help Frank Lampard in achieving his goals and before they are all fit as a fiddle, he should be given enough time.
