Paris Saint-Germain chief, Leonardo has refused to rule out the possibility of signing Cristiano Ronaldo as the club aim to partner him with Kylian Mbappe.
Cristiano Ronaldo have grown to become a legend in world football and despite clocking 35 early this year, he has continue to break records and set one.
The Portuguese have continue his good form in front of goal after battling Coronavirus on two different occasions and with the rate at which he’s going, it won’t be surprising if ends up being a contender for Seria A golden boot.
With reports circulating round Italy that Juventus could look to cash-in on Ronaldo at the end of the season, when his contract will have just a year left to run, a lot of clubs have been put on alert.
There’s only a handful of clubs in the world that have the financial firepower to pull off a deal of that magnitude, with PSG, home of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, one of them.
Leonardo, who played an influential role in the acquisition of both of those superstars, has now refused to rule out the possibility of Ronaldo arriving at the Parc des Princes.
He made this known during a Q&A with the club’s official TV channel.
Leonardo while speaking with the club’s official TV channel said:
“Cristiano Ronaldo? If he wakes up and says, ‘I’m going to another club’. How many clubs can he play in? There are 3, 4, 5, 6 clubs. It is a closed circle. PSG is in it.”
Cristiano Ronaldo moving to Paris Saint-Germain will be a major boast for the club who are trying to keep hold of Kylian Mbappe.
