Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey have given his verdict on the Premier League as he prepares to face Manchester United after a successful outing in the Europa League.
The Ghanaian who completed his dream move to Arsenal on deadline day have been speaking with ths club official website and he shared how he’s starting to get into the groove.
Speaking about his first start for the club, Partey stated that he could not believe it when he found out that he was starting.
The Ghanaian international stated that he was a bit nervous but always get these nerves when he play most of his game.
Despite losing his first two league games for the club, the £45million man has been impressed with what he has seen from Mikel Arteta and his new Gunners teammates.
Speaking about his teammates, Partey stated that he think he’s in a team that have everything, a good manager, good players, the right mentality and the way they play is very good adding that it’s the best place for him.
On their tie against Manchester United, he said:
“Manchester United are a great team with great players and important players,” he added. “If we do our work well, if we go in and fight for points, if we put a lot of pressure on them, we’ll be able to win.”
