Man Utd plan £160m triple signing after Brighon and Hove scare

Manchester United aim to make three signings potentially worth more than £160m before the transfer window closes on October 5, according to various reports.

With transfer deadline day looming a week on Monday, United are closing in on a £12m deal for left-back Alex Telles after the player asked Porto to lower their £18m asking price, according to the Guardian. Telles will become a free agent next summer.

And finally, the Jadon Sancho saga will end one way or the other with the latest suggestion United have submitted their final offer of £90m (£75m plus £15m add-ons)
