Barcelona forward, Lionel Messi has made a statement about when he will hang up his boots as a professional player.
Lionel Messi who has been in terrific form for Barcelona ever since he came into limelight noted that he will be the one to dictate when he will end his career.
The Argentine who won the Golden Shoe for a record six time when asked about the he possibility of retiring anytime soon said:
“You realize how long you can go on and I will discover it with the passing of time. I will be the first to say here I got up to here and I can not go any further.
Or I feel good to continue. Over the years I will discover it.
“I prefer that people talk about me (instead). I know what I am, what I did and what I can give, but I keep it to myself.
Then the people give their opinion. I don’t like to talk about myself, but about the collective.”
The Barcelona forward will be hoping to get his a winning when they take on long time rival, Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
