Hazard Responds To Chelsea On Possible Loan Deal

Eden Hazard has reportedly told Chelsea that he wouldn’t be making the return back to London this summer, either permanently or on loan.
Chelsea had tried to enter into negotiations with Real Madrid over a possible loan move for Hazard as the Belgian struggled to break into the first team at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Asked what his reaction would be should Chelsea follow up their interest with a bid for his services, Thorgan said: “That would be interesting considering the fact that I previously was signed to the club. It is an amazing place with great facilities I must acknowledge, and I know in 2012 I wasn’t as good as I am now. But for a deal to work out, Chelsea would first have to buy out the remaining years of my contract, give me the No 10 jersey and maybe sign Sancho too.”
Chelsea had in 2012 confirmed via its website that it had agreed terms with Lens for the immediate transfer of Thorgan Hazard. The deal was rumoured to have been done at that time to keep his brother Eden happy and in good spirits after just arriving England from the French Ligue.
Reports had emerged from the Bernabeu that Zidane’s patience had grown thin over Hazard’s continuous injury and was ready to offer the Belgian to Chelsea on loan in return for a swap deal involving Isco and Kante.
Lampard continues to oversee a series of attempts by the London club to secure the services of players across Europe as he prepares for next year.
