Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed that Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller will not be leaving the club anytime soon.
The German has been rumoured to be thinking of leaving the German side once the transfer window open in January, However Hasan Salihamidzic noted that the club will not sanction Thomas Muller’s departure in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Hasan Salihamidzic made it clear on Saturday that Bayern is not looking to sell players.
Speaking to Sky Sports (via Goal ), Salihamidzic insisted that Philippe Coutinho and Thomas Muller can play together.
He said: “That’s a story you want to write. We have two players out for months and you are trying to tell us to sell a player. There’s no reason for doing this.”
“Coutinho developed on the left side at Liverpool, he can play in different positions. Of course, he likes to play in the middle. Both players are top players.”
Thomas Muller will be hoping to make an inpact when Bayern shift their attention to DFB Pokal as they travel to Bochum on Tuesday.
