Former Manchester United midfielder, Daley Blind collapsed during Tuesday’s pre-season friendly against Hertha Berlin.
Daley Blind who only returned to action in February after being diagnosed with a heart condition in December 2019 when he suffered from dizziness during a Champions League game against Valencia had to be taken off the pitch.
The former Manchester United player had an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) fitted before he returned to action in February but his manager have played down fears that the injury is severe.
Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag said Blind was feeling “OK” after being substituted.
“Daley Blind’s ICD went off. He got subbed off straight away and he is feeling OK now, he is feeling fine,” Ten Hag told Dutch TV station Ziggo Sport.
“We will do research about this now.”
Fans will be hoping this injury do not have impact on his career.
