BREAKING: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang extends Arsenal contract to 2023


It’s currently a good day for Arsenal Football club as their captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang extends his contract for another three years.

Aubameyang’s future have been a subject of speculations for the past few months as he’s contract was set to expire at the end of the season..

The former Borussia Dortmund striker who have been linked with a lot of top clubs across Europe has now ended speculation by extending his stay at the Emirates.

The Arsenal captain scored in their opening-day 3-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, with first-team manager Mikel Arteta hinting after the match a new contract was close.

Aubameyang was instrumental in his club FA Cup triumph over Chelsea last season scoring two great goals and have started the season in a similar fashion scoring and converting the winning spot-kick in a penalty shootout as Arsenal beat Liverpool to win the Community Shield.

Since his move to Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018, he has scored 55 goals in 86 Premier League games.
