Premier League side, Chelsea have continue their good form in the summer transfer window as they smash they sign Bayern Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz on a club record deal.
The 21 years old have been on the clubs rader ever since the transfer window was opened some weeks ago and the blues were given hope of securing his signing when Bayern Leverkusen’s coach announced that he will not be training with the squad again.
Kai Havertz have now joined Chelsea from the German outfit for a fee of £71m, a fee that have made him the club record signing as his fee beat the amount Chelsea paid Atletico Bibao to secure the service of Kepa.
The German midfielder signed a deal of five years and will be eager to prove his worth and class.
Havertz becomes Frank Lampard’s seventh summer addition, joining Germany team-mate Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Malang Sarr and Xavier Mbuyamba.
