Chelsea midfielder, Kai Havertz have become the latest player to test positive for Coronavirus, Frank Lampard confirms.
Frank Lampard confirmed Havertz’s positive test ahead of Chelsea’s Champions League match against Rennes on Wednesday evening.
As a consequence the player is now undergoing a period of self-isolation.
Kai Havertz joined the London club from Bayern Lervekusen in a club record deal during the summer transfer window and will now miss their Champions League match against Rennes as well as the team match against Sheffield United on Saturday.
The German International have been in good form ever since he joined the club racking in three goals as well as some good performance.
Frank Lampard will be hoping the talented midfielder comes back stronger as he tends to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.
